Project Background
The I-84/ID-50 Kimberly Interchange (Exit 182) is a key agricultural and industrial route for accessing the Magic Valley along Idaho Highway 50.
ITD is planning to rebuild the interchange to provide for the continued safe movement of people and goods as commercial and residential growth occurs in the area.

ITD used engineering and technical information, traffic analysis, and public input to choose the preferred design.
In October 2019, ITD presented five interchange designs and a no-build option at a public meeting. Participants were asked to check Keep or Eliminate for each interchange type presented.
Single Point Urban Interchange
Diverging Diamond Interchange
Partial Cloverleaf Interchange
Traditional Diamond Interchange with Signals
Diamond Interchange with Roundabouts
